Essential Oil Diffuser

KBAYBO 400ml Essential Oil Diffuser Aroma Diffuser Aromatherapy Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

Thanks to my husband Jack, who was always by my side during and after I had Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma treatment with chemo therapy and radiation.  I am a survivor.  It has taken me a while to be able to recall and speak about my experience with cancer, coming face to face with death several times was overwhelming.  The 2nd effects of chemo and radiation are real and don’t have an expiration date.  I developed allergy’s to all chemicals perfumes, smoke etc., I get headaches.  It took us a while to realize how many chemical are lurking around us in our homes and our foods too!

He even shaved off his hair after I lost mine.  And took off work for 3 months to take care of me and take me to the Dr. visits (which were endless in the beginning).  Has continued to do so.  Arranged to work out of home and no longer the office to be there for me.  I will forever be grateful and in debt to him and feel like the luckiest girl alive!  All my family and friends also have been very supportive and loving.  He has inspired me keep going and keep trying, and in doing so I discovered I can share essential oils with others, and love doing it!

I thought I was sentenced to only vinegar and baking soda! But the aromas of essential oils are out of this world.  I love them!  There are so many to choose from, and the combinations.  Oh yes!  And they always fool me into cleaning, (I prefer to cook) but they never fails to entice me.  And since I don’t spend on perfumes or regular cleaning products I use that money towards oils.

Green Cleaning with essential oils for me has been a wonderful surprise and life saver.  I fell in love with essential oil, I could finally clean not only disinfecting but with wonderful aromas and no headaches.  Going green and not using chemicals was not an option for me but a necessity.

Being a survivor has made me stronger and more loving, forgiving towards people and life.  I no longer take anything for granted because it can change in an instant, as it did for me.  I hope our story will inspire you to look into ridding our lives from harmful chemicals and embracing essential oils for your cleaning and your body too.

Florida certainly has helped, the blue skies and warm sun in the mornings or the escapes to the beach or Everglades, and still love going to these beautiful places.

Today the most common process of extracting oils from a plant is still Distillation and Expression. In the distillation the reason is that the volatile components can be distilled at temperatures lower than the boiling points of their individual constituents and then can be separated easily from the condensed water.

Expression, which can be referred to as mechanical separation (cold pressing) of the oil from the peels of the various citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, bergamot and petigrain. Expressed citrus oils contain small amounts of naturally occurring non-volatile residues such as waxes. The result is an aroma which is identical to fresh citrus peels.

In 1975 in a research expedition to Pakistan by Dr. Paolo Rovesti, he discovered in the archaeological museum at Taxila a terra-cotta distillation apparatus dating from approximately 5000 thousand years.

The bible also mentions essential oils: Aloes, Cassia, Cedarwood, Cypress, Frankincense, Mryrh, Galbanum, Hyssop countless times.

Here are a few green cleaning recipes that you will absolutely love and appreciate.  No chemicals to poison your environment, just green cleaning and the aroma is just wonderful so inspiring that it will put a smile on your face.

My next project will be women aging and wrinkles and how using essential oils can help and invigorate you.

The joy of cleaning!  What’s important and what I have learned is that we can live in a non-toxic environment if we put the right ingredients to use.  Essential oils are chemical free and I always prefers organic, even though the non-organic at Plant Therapy are 100 pure essential oil. Enjoying the aromas that we get every time we use essential oils, it never fails no matter how many times we use them, it always smells like the first time. Enjoying the act of cleaning is something I never thought I would ever say, but now I can. No matter which part of the house you are cleaning if it includes essential oils you can be certain that the aroma in your home will be wonderful, so so good everyone will love it especially you!

Experimenting with essential oils and discovering so many different aromas, aromas that help mentally, physically and spiritually. They will inspire memories will trigger moods and will smell fresh.  They will feel clean, therefore comforting and calming us all while we clean.  Buy organic whenever possible or pure essential oils, with no fillers.

It will be like discovering a whole new world of scents for every occasion at your disposal and within your budget!  Go organic or pure essential oils with no fillers, definitely worth it.  Create your own little oil stash where you create your own wonderful blends.  Or use them as gifts on birthdays or holidays, guarantee your gift will be favorites.  I love how these oils always smell the same as if it were the first time, the smell never get old for my senses.  You decide the strength you want by added a few more drops or a few less.

Use a dark spray glass bottle whenever possible, plastics regular work too if you don’t have glass. Essential oils always make me happy I hope they make you happy too. Enjoy!

I get commission from Amazon if these essential oil accessories are purchased.

Caution: Use caution when pouring oils (oils can burn if not diluted with carrier oils) into containers by drops using caution, or using mini funnels. Keep out of reach of children and pets. For external use only.

  1. I absolutely love lavender and mint in my air diffuser. I laugh every time I mix them because lavender is supposed to help get you to sleep and mint is supposed to revitalize and wake you! I just love them together though!
What kind of dish detergent would you recommend I use in the kitchen counter recipe? I can’t wait to try ALL of these (book marking your page:) ) I didn’t even think about peppermint oil on the toilet paper roll! How clever:)
I’m so glad you had a supportive and loving husband beside you through your cancer treatments. I hope you are feeling better and I send you love! Thanks for all the cool recipes:)

    • Hi Jennifer! Thank you for your kinds words and love! Yes I am very lucky girl to have that kind of support from my husband,100% committed. Lavender and mint I love too, however I find that mint goes well with many other oils, it adds that pick me up, revitalize as you mentioned. Use the dish detergent you normally use. You are very welcome enjoy the recipes and please feel free to let us know if you come up with some favorites. Zara

  2. Hi and first off, well done in being so strong and beating cancer. Second I just want to say it’s anazing what I learn from your site. I ne er would have thought that we could keep our homes clean with just natural products. But actually it makes perfect sense, I mean what did people do before we had all these chemicals? You would be surprised just how many germs can be killed using only boiling water. Thanks Kenny

    • Thanks Kenny!  Yes, I was pretty strong, I had no idea I had it in me, the fight was ferrocious.  After that any chemicals, perfumes will give me a headache, still.  But these oils are not only ancient but effective and wonderful aromas without the chemicals.  Thank goodness I found them!

  3. I recently read about how lavender essential oil is relaxing and can help with anxiety. I was looking for a good air diffuser with a reasonable price to buy that I came across your website. I didn’t know that they are also useful for cleaning.

I am amazed by the story of you and your wonderful husband. These days, we are surrounded by chemicals that are harmful for our health and I think in most cases natural alternatives like essential oils are the best solution.

Thank you for lots of great information.

    Best,

    Albert

    • Thanks Albert!  I appreciate your kind words, my husband too. Being a caretaker is hard work and he passed with flying colors.

Actually Lavender yes, you will love it.  I live with my diffuser, they make your home smell wonderful without hurting the environment.  I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond, inexpensive and I couldnt imagine living wihtout one.  Best of luck in your business, I will be checking it out!

  4. Oh, I know all too well the side effects that chemo and radiation can cause. I went through treatment for breast cancer, and while I am now a survivor, I still struggle with memory issues. Prior to my diagnosis, I had already been doing my best to transition to natural cleaning products, but there are still so many products that claim to be natural, but are still full of ingredients that neither you nor I should come in contact with.

All your blends sound so yummy. It’s so hard to choose just one, but I think the Glass Cleaner might just be my first experiment. I love the smell of lemon, it just has such a clean, fresh scent, and so easy to make. Thanks for sharing!

    • Thanks Jennifer so much for your comment.  You are my first survivor that comments.  I truly hope you are doing much better.  Though I know it will never be the same something changed and everyday is like a first, another try.  There is so much more that can be done for survivors that will better their lives and make us feel part of something bigger.

After chemo and radiation I could no longer tolerate anything with chemicals, perfumes, smoke gases.  I thought I was destined to white vinegar, baking soda and natural soap.  Little did I know about the world of essential oils and now I couldnt be happier.  I still use vingar and baking soda but combined with the oils.  The money I used for cleaning products I know use for my oils.  The best thing though is that they “do not” give me headaches.

Thanks for Sharing with me about you.  Drop by any time and say hello!

  5. I am so glad that you have recovered from your cancer and have such a wonderful family supporting you every step of the way. I love diffusing essential oils at home but have never thought about making my own cleaning supplies. I noticed that one of the recipes includes regular soap. Will that not have chemicals in it, or is there a soap that is organic and all-natural that doesn’t have preservatives and other chemicals? If you had to choose just one of these to start with, which would it be?

    • Thank you so much Theresa for your warm kind words.  Yes, I am blessed to have had the support I did, to think not everyone had it is hard.  Yes I diffuse everyday!  Once I started to make my own cleaning products I never looked back.  You not only spend less but the aroma are out of this world.  I use them litterally none stop for the home and on myself every single day.  I dont get headaches and also they dont get old on the senses.  Like when we put on a new perfume and after a whild we no longer smell it, doesnt happen with the essential oils.  Amazing!

Yes, I use Mrs Myers Dish Soap (essential oils) I love it!  Thanks for pointing it out, I will make correction, this has all been overwhelming and I am sure I have missed a few things.

Please drop by again and let us know how it went!

  6. My favorite scents are lavender, lemon, vanilla and cinnamon. I have an oil diffuser and I use it all the time. I do know that vinegar and baking soda are a powerful cleaning combination but what other natural substances can I utilize to clean my home and space? Can you please give  me some good advice on how to clean my toddlers toys without using bleach and lysol spray? He puts everything in his mouth so its really important that I keep things clean in my home!

    • Hello Sophia those are wonderful, I cant believe how powerful aromatic the cinnamon is.  Yes vinegar and baking soda are great cleaning tools, my recepes has many combinations you will love.  The plastice toys can be cleaned with a solution of 50/50 Mixture of hot water and distilled white vinegar once a week.  Can also be thrown into the dishwasher.

Enjoy your toddler, I did mine, It was my favorite age, it was a very special time for him and I.  Good luck!  Let us know howit goes.

      Zara

  7. I used essential oils for a while but not too often. Now, after reading about you and your survival, and household and everything, you have inspired me soooo much I cannot even describe you!

Tomorrow is a new day, soon we move to our new house and I will never ever use my old detergents or anything, just what you suggest here 🙂 I love them already! I saved your site and will visit back often to see your tips and advice!

I am interested though: I have 2 kids (2 and 3 years old). Can I use all of these having them around? I read before that peppermint can cause allergic (?) reaction if I can correctly recall.

    • Hi Kisumu!  Yes you can iliminate chemicals from your home, they are certainly harmful.  I had no choice but to use the essential oils becasue my body reacted terribly to chemicals after chemo therapy. I would get headache immediately.  Essential oils, vinegar, baking soda and other natural products can keep your home clean and chemical free, and the aroma out of this world.

Excellent question!  Be very careful that the kids dont handle the oils.  Essential oils undiluted can burn the skin, they must have a carrier oil when putting them on.  Cleaning and diffusing should be fine as long as they are not in the direct path.  And use the recommended amount of drops because they are potent.  If you like the essential oils read a bit when you get a chance, they are amazing.

Enjoy your toddlers they are amaing little people and are my favorite!  Come back let us know how it goes with the oils.

      Thanks!

      Zara

    • Thanks Elixa for commenting! Yes they are a life saver, I am living proof! After my chemo I became alergic to any smoke, chemicals in the air, even my favorite fragrances give me very bad headache. However, not essential oils, thank goodness! Great hearing from you! Zara
